we are buying used not complete desktop and laptops computers for
a couple dollars each. The way really is by the pound. Twenty cents per
pound. We will stack and wrap the pc's in your office and move them
to the loading dock and take them. A bill of sale will transfer all
liabilities to us. Nothing will go into a landfill.

We use a contract transferring all liabilities to us and I'm not throwing
anything into a dumpster or landfill. Pretty much everything has a
value. In most cases sold on Ebay.

As you search for buyers like myself you will see those that state
recycling offered. Most recyclers first rule is to sell as much in
the United States as possible. Using Ebay as an example. The
remaining amount of pieces and parts then are sold to a recycler to
be crushed into a commodity.  precious metal commodity prices are
too low to crush everything into a commodity.

This offer is directed to corporations that have at least twenty fifty of
either desktops and or lcd's. Less than that then it isn't a large
enough volume for our services.

We are buying desktop LCD's from 15 inch to 19 inch at a dollar
each. LCD's with broken glass we will buy at a twenty five cents each.

Computer Recycle R2 and ISO Certifications

I run into various people and those I like and believe in I try my best to guide business they're way. On a few posts I have written here and on other blogs I own I tell the story of buying a used Honda CRV in Atlanta. Now I'm shifting gears to Computer Recycle R2 and ISO Certifications.

I have met a consultant that offers prices are super reasonable and the process is on steroids. In the past in Atlanta R2 certified consultants are everywhere and the prices range from $6500.00 to $18,000.00. The process takes from three months to one year.

This consulting business will explain how and why and probably turn your world upside down but you be Electronics R2 and ISO 14001 certified in 90 days. I would almost like 120 days but they are set up to start to finish be done in 90 days. Pretty much the same cost as most all the other consultants.You have to weigh everything in and weigh everything out. You must account for all the weight. Mainly proving by record keeping that all went to buyers or re-sellers or sold on Ebay but not in a landfill. Steel toe shoes and safety signs everywhere. Safety kits here and there. 

A computer broker that sells to other brokers or on Ebay buys or gets at no cost 250 desktops or laptops,routers, phones and or scanners or some type of electronics. Weigh all the equipment in. Sell anything off the two pallets of gear in that package then weigh what left. So let's say 1650 pounds in. Shipped a desktop sold on Ebay weighed 14 pounds. Subtract 14 lbs from the 1650 pounds and you still have 1636 pounds of potential electronic waste. That is the issue. Accountability. Landfill? Exported the remaining crap?

Cost of a Consultant Somewhere between $7000.00 and $18,000.00
Cost of inspection, audits and first year dues. $6,000.00
Time the entire process takes. 90 days to 365 days.

I can get it done for you for a reasonable price. Depends on how many employees and how big your building is. If you are a small business two employees and under two thousand square feet I'm guessing the consultants fees will be about $14,000.00 and these people will get it done in 90 days.
